Reliable and resilient electricity transmission and distribution networks are essential to support Luxembourg’s transition toward an energy-efficient and climate-neutral society.
The Network Development Plan for the Electricity Distribution Grid 2025-2035 (Distribution Network Development Plan – DNDP) presents Sudstoum strategic vision for the long-term evolution of Luxembourg’s electricity distribution infrastructure, including medium and low-voltage levels. It covers a ten-year horizon and will be updated biennially to reflect new scenarios and policies, stakeholder input, and evolving technologies.
The document translates the policy targets from National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) into quantitative projections for electricity demand and generation.
